How to prepare your tracks for online remix and music production


  • Please send your tracks at least a month before you need the song. Producing music of high standard requires time. If you urge the production you might risk the quality of the final product.
  • It's generally a good idea to send the original song in full length. However, if you'd like to get an almost fully independent reconstruction of your song you may decide not to send it.
  • At least the lead vocal tracks are required to start the remix or music production. If you send an instrumental song with no vocals please include all individual tracks.
  • Your tracks should be in an uncompressed audio format (e.g. wave, aiff), recorded at 44.1 kHz 24 bit or better resolution.
  • If you have the chance please send your tracks with the following processors switched off:
    • equalizers
    • dynamics processors (e.g compressors, limiters)
    • reverb and delay effects
